It will remain in place until further notice.Sign up for the weekly Limerick Post newsletter Sign Up “The Do Not Drink notice has been extended to Knockaderry as a precautionary measure to protect customers in the area. We acknowledge that this will cause inconvenience for people living in the area and would like to assure our customers that we will continue to work closely with Limerick City and County Council and the HSE to monitor the supply and lift the notice as quickly as it is safe to do so,” said Ian O’Mahony, Irish Water Operations Lead for Limerick.Irish Water drinking water compliance and operational experts are working with Limerick City and County Council to resolve this situation as soon as possible. In addition, crews are carrying out drilling work to identify possible new water sources.A tanker of water will be available at the Square in Rathkeale and in Knockaderry village.
