first_imgDonegal man Declan McGuinness was a popular lad with hundreds of people in Dublin last night.Declan was an audience member at RTE’s Ray D’Arcy Show.And having a bit of talent at the aul ‘lip syncing’ certainly came in handy for Declan. He was asked by Ray and guests Jedward to take part in a ‘sync off’ with another audience member.Declan duly obliged and gave a stomping version of Niamh Kavangh’s Eurovision hit ‘In Your Eyes.’Jedward looks particularly impressed by Declan’s efforts.Maybe Declan could join up with the lads and make them as trio – Decjedward! first_imgThe Emergency Department at flood-hit Letterkenny General Hospital will re-open to patients on Wednesday 12 March at 8am.Letterkenny HospitalThe hospital was severely damaged by torrential rain last July.The HSE estimates that it will cost €40million to repair the damage and upgrade the hospital. At one stage up to 70% of the floor space of the hospital was under water.An independent report by a team of civil engineers is being carried out into the cause of the flood.Mr Sean Murphy, General Manager, Letterkenny General Hospital said the hospital is looking forward to welcoming paients back.“I would like to advise all patients that the work to rebuild the Emergency Department and the Acute Medical Assessment Unit following the flood last July has been completed and both Departments will re-open next Wednesday. “We are looking forward to welcoming patients back to these areas of the hospital on Wednesday 12 March.
