Lifelong learning at Brock — a health club for the brain

Do you have a lifelong interest in learning and looking for ways to keep it alive? Lifelong learning institutes, or Third Age Learning Networks, provide excellent opportunities for such learning.On Friday, Oct. 31, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, the Centre for Adult Education and Community Outreach (CAECO) at Brock University will host a public presentation by neuropsychologist, Guy Proulx of Glendon College, York University.* What: “The Aging Brain: A Healthy & Positive Approach” presentation by neuropsychologist Guy Proulx* When: Friday, Oct. 31, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.* Where: Rodman Hall (109 St. Paul Crescent, St. Catharines)This event is free and open to the public.CAECO invites life long learners from Niagara to participate in this new initiative. An interest group and steering committee will be established subsequent to this event.Lifelong Learning Institutes offer non-credit university level educational experiences with little or no homework and at a fraction of the cost.The membership of retired, future or active faculty, along with outside experts who have a particular interest or expertise organize and facilitate the learning activities.
